WHAT IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS FAT FREEZING?

It is a non-invasive, clinically proven procedure to selectively reduce fat in problem areas using controlled cooling. It is a safe procedure which gently cools unwanted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells. This reduces bulges without harming surrounding tissue.

Cryolipolysis is a medical treatment that uses the controlled application of cooling, within the temperature range of +5 to −5 °C. This non-invasive procedure enables the localized reduction of fat deposits, in order to reshape the contours of the body. The exposure to cooling causes the cell death (apoptosis) of subcutaneous fat tissue, but the overlying skin is not affected.

This is a safe and patented procedure, approved by the FDA and TGA registered. It can yield results of up to between 20% - 50% fat reduction in one treatment.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Research conducted at Harvard University showed that fat cells are naturally more vulnerable to the effects of cold than other surrounding tissues, such as skin, muscle and nerves. The Cryolipolysis treatment targets selected fat cells, which are then exposed to precisely controlled cooling. The treated fat cells are destroyed, and then broken down by the body over the next weeks and months.

AM I GOOD CANDIDATE?

Good candidates are men or women who have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. The CRYOLIPOLYSIS fat reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese. It is, however a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.

We treat all of the following areas with fat freezing: abdomen, back, hips, inner thighs, outer thighs, love handles, man boobs, upper arms and double chin. Book a free one-on-one consultation and see if the Cryolipolysis procedure is right for you.

HOW LONG IS EACH TREATMENT?

The length of your treatment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. While each treatment generally lasts about 1 hour, some patients have more than one treatment during the same visit. We can treat up to 2 areas in one treatment. Maximum of 4 hours in one day.

WHEN WILL I START TO SEE RESULTS?

You will start to see a change as soon as 3 weeks after your treatment, with the best results seen after 2 - 3 months, though results may vary from person to person.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?

As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon settles. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop or even take a nap during their treatment.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

During the procedure you may experience deep pulling, tugging, pinching, numbness or discomfort. Following your treatment, typical side effects include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, tingling and discomfort.
