Peter T. Pugliese, MD practiced family medicine before dedicating over 40 years to the science of skin and aging. He is the author of many publications, including the 2005 landmark text, Advanced Professional Skin Care, Medical Edition. Michael Q. Pugliese, LE, grandson of Dr. Pugliese, is CEO of Circadia by Dr. Pugliese and the Circadia Institute of Advanced Esthetics. After working side-by-side with Dr. Pugliese in the lab and on the road for many years, he has become a respected educator world-wide. Michael and Dr. Pugliese take great pride in presenting the latest science for skin care professionals.

About Michael Q. Pugliese, LE
michaelMichael Q. Pugliese, LE, became the third- generation CEO of Circadia by Dr. Pugliese, Inc. in 2006. Michael is the son of Patti Pugliese. In a few short years under Michael’s leadership, the Circadia brand has grown to achieve international recognition and distribution, largely through its vigorous support of the American esthetic industry trade shows and magazines.
In the tradition of his grandfather, Michael’s popular product-neutral scientific lectures around the world are often attended by leaders of other professional skin care companies, already fans of the books by Dr. Pugliese. Traveling an average of 40 weeks a year, Michael, michael-img-003at 6’7” in his trademark monogrammed scrubs, is visible as a speaker at shows all over the US, and at the annual esthetic events in Sydney, London, Toronto, Mexico City and Vancouver.
Michael attended the esthetics course in Pennsylvania and is a licensed esthetician. He is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and regularly attends their education events to stay on the cutting edge of new product development.
